Finally back from the NYAA camp. It was known as Saribun Scout Camp. Hahas. Now, i learn how to appreciate life much more than i did last time. This camp is boring. For goodness sake, NEVER ASK ME TO GO TO THIS CAMP ANYMORE!! We didn't do anything interesting. It is like WTH. The only part i like is that we got to sleep in dorm and there was fan installed unlike other camp which i had to sleep in the tent with natural wind.
Day 1When we reach there, we had to be sitted in our groups and i was in group 6! I did not know anyone except Gerald and Kelston. Later, we "checked" in to our dormitories for girls andfor boys the A hut. You won't know what it is unless you go there and look at it yourself cause my description for it is
pathetic. HAHAS. Okay never i give it a try. Is looks like <----- this. HAHAS isn't this pathetic. HAHAS. But one thing is that you don't need to pistch it yourself cause its ain't a tent! Okay hope you get a rough idea what is looks like. For girls it is a dormitory. I ain't going to draw it for you cause you should how it looks like. HAHAS. After we checked in, we put our bags inside. I was appointed as the dormitory leader! HOW PATHETIC IS THAT! A dormitory leader! hahas. Then, we met our trainer. From the first sight i saw my trainer, i knew this time we are not going to have a FUN time! Who cares i am only to suffer for 2 days 1 night and I hope i ain't going back. Soon, it was lunch time. Then later, we had farmland expedition f or group 1-8 and group9-15 was doing other things. This is the worst expedition. It was tiring and moreover, we walked for 5 hours! I felt like lying on my bed and I began treasuring life MUCH MUCH MORE! cause there is a car for me the lazy person to sit in! HAHAS. My trainer: Afzal was always shouting " GROUP 6 STAY NEAR THE GRASS PATCH!" WTH LA! We were not able to complete all the "stations". The second checkpoint was very far away! On the way back, Gerald wanted to step on my shoes and i said if you step, i will tell everyone who you like. He was like tell la. But in the end he did not step. HAHA. We were not able to go to the frog farm and goat farm!!! RAHHHH.... We reached back to the camp site at 5.30 plus. We did campfire preparation with group 5. It was okay la. Dinner time! After dinner, we had our campfire. It was held in the MPH (multi Purpose Hall) It was made up of torche light. Isn't it pathetic? But it is COOL! HAHAS. Group 5 and 6 performance was a "disaster" . HAHAS, Later, we had supper and debrief . We had to do the NYAA booklet. After that we had to shower. XD As there was not enough shower, some of us had to wash our hair outside and wait until the cubicle is empty and then we are able to go in ang bathe. The trainer told us the wash our hair outside and some who were inside came out and wash their hair instead of washing inside. HAHAS. LIGHTS OUT AT 11.45! Miss Cindy Soh came shouting at us and told us to sleep or else.... What can it be? I slept for erm..? From 12 plus to 05.23 a.m.
DAY 2We did morning stretches and then had breakfast. It is like all the time we are eating was RICE and other dishes! This time, group 9-15 went on expedition and group1-8 did other things. HAHAS. First, we did tent-pitching. OKAY, my boring trainer taught us how to pitch the tent. I was going like this ZZZzzzz.... HAHAS. Later, we had a mini competition. It was unfair to GROUP6 as the things need was missing. RAHHHHHHHH..... This is freaky. LAter, we moved on to 1st aid! This is the last thing i would like to learn from this camp! Don't want to talk about boring things so lets skip this part. :X WE did BWM (BAck Woods Man). We had to cook orange egg and soldier bread? Orange egg was disgusting. We had to dig out the inside of the orange. YUCKS. Gerald is damn weird. He make me dig the inside when it was his JOB! RAHHHH... Our fire was not able to start and when the orange egg was being cooked, it taste orangy. YUCK! Lastly, we did knots and lashin which i already know how to do. HAHAS. DAMN LAME. Not talking about it.
Then, we had our lunch! OUR LAST MEAL AT SARIBUN SCOUT CAMP. XD Soon, we had to pack up our belongings and bring it to MPH. Then we assemble and did our area cleaning. HAHAS. Some of the group had to clean up the toilet! Tricia had to carry the basket full of PADS to the dustbin at the boys toilet! HAHAS!
HEORINE TRICIA. My group and Samantha's group was together and we only had to clean up A room and carry things around. Isn't it simple. Sam and other 3 girls volunteered to sweep the place. I did nothing. Sam swept out of the room and was scolded by my trainer. OKaay.. After doing our job, we palyed Wacko which was lame. There was some argument... In the end, all the boys went to do something and we, GIRLS, played another game. In the end we assemble at MPH and ready to go HOME! XD I love the last part! HAHAS.
On the way back in the bus, a few people slept and one of them is IAN. Mrs Lim saw him sleeping and took someone shoes and placed it in front of him. He didn't even smelt it! HAHAS. I called my father and told him to fetch me. First, he said cannot cause he is in Jurong but when i told him i was only on KJE, he say oaky. HAHAS. I DON'T KNOW WHY! He said to wait for him for 30 mins. I said okay. When we reached school, my father haven't arrive and Theodoric asked me whether i can share a Taxi with him. I said my father was fetching me and i told him " If you wait with me for 30mins, i will ask my father to fetch you." But in the end, he went to share a cab with Wei Da. Eli waited with me. However, her father said to wait for her for 15 mins but int eh end, her father came almost the same time as mine! We waited for 30 mins. HAHAS.
